Mel Gibson makes rare red carpet appearance with his two youngest kids
Mel Gibson had some special guests supporting him on his latest film.
The Hollywood star, 68, made a rare red carpet appearance in Los Angeles with two of his children.
Gibson's daughter Lucia, 14, and youngest son Lars, seven, joined their famous father for the special screening of his new film Monster Summer.
The Braveheart star was all smiles as he walked the red carpet with his kids and posed for family photos ahead of the screening.

The actor's teen daughter looked stunning for the event in a red teacup mini-dress accessorised with a sparkly gold clutch and strappy heels.
Lucia, 14, kept her hair down and styled straight on the red carpet.
Standing next to his dad in photos, seven-year-old Lars looked dapper in a tucked dress shirt and trousers with his long blonde hair out.
The appearance marks a rare one for Gibson, after he made headlines for several controversies over the years.

Gibson shares Lucia with ex-partner, Russian singer-songwriter Oksana Grigorieva. The pair split in 2010 a year after welcoming their daughter.
Meanwhile Lars is the first child Gibson shares with his current partner Rosalind Ross.
The couple welcomed their son in 2017, marking Ross' first child and Gibson's ninth.
For the screening, Gibson opted for a dress shirt and suit jacket for the occasion, which he paired with jeans and sneakers for a casual twist.
Including Lucia and Lars, Gibson has nine children from his various relationships.
He shares seven kids from his marriage to ex-wife, Australian dental nurse Robyn Moore.
Gibson and Moore welcomed their first and only daughter Hannah Mae Brobst, 43, in 1980. They then had twin sons Christian and Edward, 42, William, 39, Louie, 36, Milo, 33, and Thomas, 25.
Moore filed for divorce from Gibson in 2009. Their divorce was finalised in 2011.
The couple were married for nearly three decades after tying the knot in 1980.
Gibson is best known for his work in the action movie genre, starring in the Mad Max franchise, Lethal Weapon and Braveheart.
