Brooklyn Beckham has finally broken his social media silence following a notable absence from David Beckham's knighthood ceremony last Tuesday.

The eldest son of David and Victoria posted an unrelated cooking video in promotion of his hot-sauce company 'Cloud23' on Instagram today.

The budding content creator and foodie, 26, captioned the cooking video "The secret sauce? Not so secret anymore," pointedly failing to acknowledge his football-icon father once again.

This latest slight did not go unnoticed by fans, many of whom flooded the comment section of the video with criticism over the eldest Beckham's apparent snub.

"No one cares mate, you going to say well done to your dad?" one chastised.

"You could have gone though... just saying," supplied another.

Others were quick to come to Brooklyn's defence, saying that until more details come to light regarding the family feud, it would be difficult to judge who is in the wrong.

"Please stop bullying this young guy! We don't know what happened?? It's a private matter so we can't judge who's in the right or the wrong!" implored one fan.

Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz Beckham – who is allegedly at the centre of the Beckhams' ongoing spat – also broke her silence, posting a story thanking her sister, Brittany Peltz, for a gifted bouquet.

The schism between the family allegedly began after Peltz Beckham failed to wear a wedding dress designed by mother-in-law Victoria Beckham for her 2022 ceremony.

There remains no mention of Sir David's milestone from either of the Peltz Beckhams, who reportedly are keeping their distance and waiting for things to "settle naturally."

The pair's absence was also noted at David's post-knighthood celebrations last Friday, where two out of four of The Beckham brood were present – Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 23.

The former star footballer, who celebrated his 50th birthday back in May, reportedly took over a local pub in Charlbury, UK for the occasion.

Beckham was joined by an intimate party of close friends including Gary Neville and Guy Ritchie.

The posh pub party turned raucous after Beckham and his crew filtered into the main area of the adjoining pub to dance and sing with local punters.

Fellow pubgoers were reportedly thrilled at being treated to a surprise appearance from the newly-minted knight.
