Brooklyn Beckham finally breaks silence on fiery rumoured feud with his family

Brooklyn Beckham has finally broken his silence on the family feud that has been splashed across headlines for months.

The 26-year-old addressed the drama within his family – which is said to have left him estranged from parents David and Victoria and his younger brothers Romeo and Cruz – while participating in the Ryder Cup All-Star on Wednesday.

In response to the rumours, he praised his wife Nicole Peltz, 30, for being by his side through such difficult times.

"Everyone is always going to say rubbish," he told the Daily Mail. "I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It's good fun."

He also spoke about how he copes with the negative headlines surrounding his relationship with his family.

"There's always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife," Brooklyn added.

"Me and her, we just do our thing. We just keep our heads down and work. And we're happy."

Rumours of the family feud first kicked off back in 2022 when Nicola decided not to wear a wedding gown custom-made by Victoria from her own design label, and instead wore a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown.

For a while it seemed that the family had buried the hatchet with Nicola and Victoria appearing to be getting along swimmingly, but then when Romeo begun dating Kim Turnbull who was rumoured to have a romantic history with Brooklyn, the speculation was rife once again.

Romeo and Turnbull have since split, with Turnbull releasing a lengthy statement denying anything more than a friendship with Brooklyn but speculation of a feud continues.

Things reached fever pitch again back in May when Brooklyn and Nicola missed David's 50th birthday celebrations.

Brooklyn not only missed the lavish parties, but also a boys' trip with his dad and brothers later that month.

Resurfaced drama from their wedding made headlines again, with tensions between his mum Victoria and new bride clear.

In a pointed comment on Instagram, Brooklyn noted that he will "always choose" his wife, seemingly referencing the feud.

Despite the headlines, both David and Victoria are doing their best to keep up appearances online, often posting about how much they love and cherish all four of their children.

And while the brothers have taken a number of subtle swipes at each other, there is one Beckham family member who appears to remain unaffected by the rumours.

Youngest sibling Harper Beckham celebrated her 14th birthday on July 10, with Romeo, David and Victoria sharing posts on social media to celebrate.

But what came as a surprise to Beckham fans was that Brooklyn and Nicola also took to social media to celebrate Harper's birthday, after failing to post for previous family milestones such as David and Victoria's wedding anniversary and David's 50th birthday.

Brooklyn shared a snap of him and Nicola with Harper at Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show in 2024 to his Instagram story.

"Happy birthday harper we love u x," he wrote, tagging Nicola.

Nicola then re-shared the post to her own Instagram story.
