Courtney and Grant's Guest Bedroom

According to Courtney and Grant, this week was a "fresh start".
Well, that's one way of putting it.
Grant sacked his builders after he caught them talking behind his back about what they claimed were unpaid invoices.
Grant stood firm that he had paid them and in the heat of the moment fired the builders with no plan B.

Even that didn't get in the way of Courtney and Grant delivering a guest bedroom they hoped would be used as a "multifunctional" space for friends, family or kids.
Scroll through to see what Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox thought of Courtney and Grant's guest bedroom.
Courtney and Grant proved that you don't have to break the bank to deliver an elevated room.
The duo spent modestly this week with a budget of $8,946.
Unsurprisingly, Courtney and Grant were keeping to their Moderterranean aesthetic. That meant lots of organic materials and curves!
One of House 2's features was a curved wall and skirting board – but with no builders of their own, House 1's builder was happy to offer their time and expertise to help Courtney and Grant pull off what they thought was "not possible".
Courtney had styled a space with "calming colours" and a "luxe feel".
"I hope the judges walk in there and slowly see every little detail," she said.
Walking into the room with a big grin, Darren said, "My heart just jumped out of my chest."
While Marty echoed that sentiment saying, "This is special."
Shaynna was on the same page as the boys and especially appreciated how Courtney and Grant had tied all the rooms together with the curve detailing.
The colour palette was another huge tick in the eyes of the judges.
"I love how they have got a completely different colour for their artwork, but all the earthiness works in with their slight tone of accessories," Shaynna said.
"Everything is tactile and textural."
When Darren discovered Courtney and Grant's feature curve skirting, he could barely contain himself.
"That skirting is sexy!" Darren beamed.
The judge didn't underestimate how much work the curved skirting would've taken noting individual slots had to be cut before it was gently moulded, filled and sanded.
Can you peep the curved skirting behind the bedside table?
Marty was taken aback by the high-end finishes throughout the room.
"They've used mood lighting in the study nook and the same materials as they have in the bathrooms," he said.
"They're tying everything back in so beautifully, it's not in your face but enough to make you go wow."
The compliments didn't stop coming from Marty.
The realtor made a major call about Courtney and Grant.
"I'm going to call it early, these guys are the front runners. They really are," he declared.
Back at Block HQ, Courtney and Grant were quietly chuffed with themselves.
