Kristian and Mimi's Main Ensuite
Kristian and Mimi have had a dream start to The Block, winning the first two weeks in a row.
Despite that, Week 3 was anything but simple. In fact, Mimi summed it up as "a disaster".

Once again, the couple were working with the biggest room on The Block – which gave them both an advantage and a lot more work to do.

Kristian and Mimi's gigantic ensuite featured a huge double shower, double vanity and sinks – and a huge price tag to boot.
All up, they spent $32,805 this week – the most of all the teams and about $10,000 over the recommended spend.
Immediately, the judges were struck by the enormity of the room.
"Another massive room," Marty said.
"This is extremely spacious, and when I say extreme I mean extreme," Darren agreed.
In fact, the trio wondered if it was too big.
Marty estimated the shower to be about two-and-a-half metres.
Back at HQ, Mimi got a laugh out of everybody when she nervously called it the "party shower".
Unfortunately, the 'party shower' had a major flaw: its screen was extremely close to the room's entrance.
"That's too close to the door," Marty said.
"And you don't even need it," Shaynna replied.
"What water is this keeping out?" he agreed, pointing out how far the screens were from the shower heads.
As Scotty read out the judges' feedback, he readily agreed with this point.
"Why are they there? I walked into your bathroom today and nearly walked into the shower screen," he said.
Kristian explained that in order to have the screen closer to the water, they would've needed to put a door in.
"Then you should've put a door," Scotty replied.
Darren the mimicked trying to get in and out of the room with the door without the door being fully open, which was not possible.
All three agreed that the huge shower was a miss.
"I've never seen such a big, useless shower," Marty said.
"There's no bath for so much square metreage, this here is wrecking the room and I believe, from the effort that they've gone into, they think that this is the hero of the room. And it's not."
The feedback on the shower was not great, but Kristian and Mimi's bronze details were in line with their winning Week 1 guest bathroom.
