Scott Cam has a blunt response to Ricky and Haydn's dilemma during weekly walk-arounds on The Block 2024

When Scott Cam and Shelley Craft do their weekly Block walk-arounds they're hoping to see rooms with plenty of progress.

That's not at all what they found when they walked into Ricky and Haydn's main ensuite.

Scott and Shelley arrived just as Ricky was ripping up the waterproofing.

Immediately, Scotty asked the question on everyone's mind: "Why?"

Ricky explained the whole saga to Scott and Shelley who were more than sympathetic.

"It's disappointing, yeah it hasn't been an easy ride so far," Ricky said.

"I obviously don't want to have an incomplete bathroom come Sunday but if that overcomes my mind then I won't do anything well between now and then."

Scotty wondered how the wrong primer ended it up being used and as he questioned Ricky, the Blockhead had a query of his own for host.

"Is it my responsibility to be taking all the products to Nine In Six and getting it approved?" Ricky asked.

"Maybe it is and that's why I take some of the responsibility."

But Scotty soon unblurred the lines with a blunt response explaining Ricky and Haydn's builder should be the one going to Nine In Six and asking what the requirements are.

"That's a builder's job, the whole construction is his department," Scotty doubled down.

While it was bad news for House 3, it was positive vibes at just about every other house.

Jesse and Paige were happy to report they were finally "finding their confidence" as had Kylie who thought she'd finally nailed her dark and moody aesthetic.

Courtney and Grant were also at an all-time high after they're bold checkered tiles had finally been delivered.
