All Stars Omar and Oz's one-word response after hearing about Maddy and Charlotte's 'tough' experience so far

It was a full house as All Stars Omar and Oz sat down with tied winners Maddy and Charlotte and Ricky and Haydn at this week's Winners Are Grinners Dinner.

Ricky and Haydn were stoked to meet the Block 2022 winners admitting that they saw a lot of themselves in Omar and Oz.

"We did compare ourselves to them coming onto The Block. Best mates just here for the journey and to have a good time and also to play the game," Ricky drew parallels between the pairs.

But Omar and Oz also had a lot in common with Maddy and Charlotte, namely that they unintentionally ruffled the feathers of their competition.

And the All Stars had some sound advice for the girls.

You might recall Omar and Oz's dizzying $1,686,666.66 win at The Block 2022 Auction Day.

The best mates kept their strategy strong by lining up buyers Adrian Portelli and Danny Wallis for the auction. It was Adrian and Danny's bidding war that ultimately led to Omar and Oz's record-breaking profit.

But their win didn't come without criticism.

"I just feel like they were playing the game the whole time and it shows. It's not what you know it's who you know and obviously it paid off didn't it," one co-star said of their win post-auction.

So when Scott Cam told Omar and Oz of Maddy and Charlotte's experience so far they certainly had an opinion.

"It's been tough [for Maddy and Charlotte] a few of the teams don't like them," Scotty said.
