'Goodbye': The first photos the Yellowstone cast have shared since the finale
Yellowstone's explosive finale saw us visit the Dutton Ranch for the final time as the hit series came to end.
Patriarch John Dutton was laid to rest and the fate of the ranch was at last revealed in an emotional finale episode.
The only place you can stream every episode of Yellowstone is on Stan.
With the end of an era, the cast took time to bid farewell to their characters on their personal social media accounts.
Looking back on the finale however, there's one detail fans might have missed.

Kevin Costner may have been missing from Yellowstone's finale, but it seems the location still holds a special place in his heart.
The Hollywood star has been busy behind the scenes working on his latest passion projects including the release of Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 2, along with a new three-part docuseries titled Yellowstone to Yosemite.

"I hear they call this a photo dump. It's been a wild couple of weeks," he captioned a string of photos.
Here, he's pictured at the Horizon Chapter 2 premiere.
The update comes after the announcement Costner will host and executive produce the Yellowstone to Yosemite series, a follow-up to his first documentary Yellowstone: One-Fifty (2022).

"Once in a while, you come across a story that has that truly special mix of elements; it's stranger than fiction and happens against all odds," Costner wrote on Instagram.
"It results in something that legitimately changes the world for the good and, most importantly, it all really happened."
The docuseries will follow the story of President Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir's camping trip through Yosemite.
Costner said he was "excited" to dig into this "next chapter" with fans.

Fans gasped when real-life supermodel Bella Hadid made a surprise cameo in Yellowstone.
The Hollywood star played Sadie, Travis Wheatley's girlfriend in the series. While only a brief appearance, Bella certainly looked back on the time fondly...

"@yellowstone 🙏 best crew, best cast, best horses, best brains," Bella began in a lengthy post.
"Grateful to have been in the presence of and learn a lifetime's worth of knowledge in a few days from the most brilliant of people!
"I could have been cast as a fly on the wall and would have been just filled with gratitude to be on a set like this for the last season of a show I love so deeply!
But there's one star Bella personally thanked from the series.

That was Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton), who she shared the screen with.
"Thank you Kelly for being such an inspiring mentor for our few days together," Bella continued.
"Helpful, beautiful, kind, talented and caring. she really IS that great and badass, guys!
"Thank you Taylor [Sheridan] for everything, having faith in me and the opportunity. not a better group 🙏 watch Yellowstone now."

Brecken Merrill | Tate
Growing up on our screens was Brecken Merrill, who played Tate in the hit-drama series.
In a personal post, Brecken reflected on the final episode and shared a moment from John's funeral scene.
"We lay a patriarch to rest and returned land to its people," he began.
"Thank you all for your enthusiastic support over the years. It was such an adventure getting to tell a small part of the story of the Duttons."
But there's one detail fans might have missed.
"Who else cried when they heard Elsa's narration?" the actor wrote.
Brecken Merrill | Tate
Brecken was referring to the narration at the very end of the episode, which was in fact the character of Elsa Dutton from the Yellowstone prequel 1883.
Elsa was believed to be the first Dutton to die on the land, and now John was the last. Fans in the comments called it a "full circle moment".
There was even a nod to Elsa's character at the very end...
In the last 10 minutes of the episode, Mo stood the headstones back up. The first headstone belonged to Elsa Dutton who died in 1883.
The last headstone belonged to John Dutton III.
"Hearing Elsa at the end of the show brought me to tears," one fan wrote.
"Elsa narrating at the end was a full circle moment I wasn't prepared for 😥," said another. "Beautiful ending that wouldn't made John and his ancestors proud ❤️."
"Perfect ending! Bringing back Elsa's voice was a perfect touch," a third agreed.
