With a new season of Married At First Sight upon us, we thought we'd check up on last year's brides and grooms.

Rhi and Jeff were the only original couple still standing from Season 12.
They celebrated the end of the experiment with a sweet message thanking everyone for their support.
"We're beyond grateful for the friendships we've made, memories shared, and the lessons we've learned along the way.
"It's been a whirlwind of hard work, growth, and unforgettable moments and we still can't quite believe how far we've come and are SO excited for this next chapter together!" she shared.

A year on since they reunited the couple are living together in Melbourne and still going strong!
Jacqui and Clint
Jacqui and Clint were not matched during the experiment, but they confirmed their relationship at the Reunion – and it was clearly very serious already!
Jacqui surprised the entire room when she revealed she would be moving to Tasmania to live with Clint.
Although some of their fellow participants were sceptical, it clearly worked, because as the Reunion aired the couple had some even bigger news!

They're engaged!
The duo unveiled the news while watching the Reunion live at a party hosted by So Dramatic! in front of friends and fans.
"I wanted to have a conversation later, but we've got a room full of new friends... for what you've done on-screen, you're an absolute star and you've been a star in my life," Clint said to his partner at the time.
He then asked Jacqui to marry him...

Jacqui burst into tears and fell onto the chair in front of her, before screaming the word 'yes' and kissing him multiple times.
What a happy ending indeed!
Jacqui and Clint are still very much engaged and looking to marry in 2026!
Jamie and Dave
Jamie and Dave ended things following an emotional Reunion.
"A reminder to never settle for a man that simply doesn't deserve you," she reflected at the time.
So where do they stand now?
Jamie and Dave
"Unfortunately Dave and I don't speak anymore," the 30-year-old told 9Entertainment in April 2025.
They had originally maintained a friendship, but Jamie chose to end that while the experiment aired.
"Unfortunately when you have the opportunity to watch a relationship back and really see behaviour for what it is... I had to take a step back and say, 'I need to respect myself, know my worth and I don't believe everyone deserves to have access to me.'
"I finally had to choose myself."
Jamie and Eliot
It wasn't long before Jamie and Eliot sparked rumours of a romance.
At the time, Jamie didn't deny there was no romance brewing between them but insisted their pair were "enjoying getting to know each other".
The two remain close friends today.
Eliot
Eliot had one of the biggest turnarounds in MAFS history, going from a groom who skipped out on his first marriage after just days to fan-favourite after returning.
Although his marriage(s) in the experiment did not end well, Eliot's not letting that get him down.
After returning to the Gold Coast, the groom shared a carousel of "life lately", featuring him working on the tools and hanging out with his dog.

Billy
Things didn't work out between Billy and on-screen wife Sierah.
Despite rumours of a romance with co-star Awhina, he remained single. That is, until he hard launched his relationship with girlfriend Brei in October 2025.
"RARE LOVE 🔒," he said at the time.
Billy also has had some exciting family news....
