Usman Khawaja - 10
Pure perfection from the opener.
His first ever double century comes at 38 years old.
What an achievement and what a knock.
Travis Head - 8
Played his role to perfection after being shifted up the order.
Put pressure on Sri Lanka's bowlers straight away and scored a half-century.
Was elite in the field too.
Marnus Labuschagne - 3
Simply can't get past starts at the moment and his 20 was scratchy at best.
Only one of the top five to miss out on runs.
Steve Smith - 9.5
What a Test for the stand-in skipper.
Finished with 10,000 runs to his name and another Test century.
Captained well too, apart from a missed review on day four.
Josh Inglis - 9
Can't ask for much more than a century on debut.
Repaid the faith from selectors after Sam Konstas was dropped and Inglis took Travis Head's position in the order.
Alex Carey - 7
Unbeaten with the bat and just missed out on a half-century before the declaration.
Hardly puts a foot wrong with the gloves and navigated the spinners with class.
Beau Webster - 5
Didn't have to contribute too much with the bat, coming in when the pressure was off.
Would've hoped to turn that 23 into another half-century though.
Solid in the field.
Mitchell Starc - 7.5
Contributed with lower order runs and then did his role with the ball.
Claimed three wickets for the match and was a noticeable point of difference with his bounce.
Three catches to his name too.
Todd Murphy - 3
Won't go down as his best Test match, struggling to find rhythm with the ball.
Claimed just the one wicket overall, but an important one in Dimuth Karunaratne.
