‘World’s best centre’ turning NRL title race on its head
It’s not often a centre is so influential he can shape the fate of an entire season but Herbie Farnworth is in that kind of form for the Dolphins. He’s been in The Mole’s Team of the Week almost every week recently and that was no different in round 26.

1. Sualauvi Faalogo (Storm): This exciting player was at his very best in the demolition of the Broncos, scoring a try and having a hand in several others as the Storm racked up the points on Thursday night.

2. Brian Kelly (Eels): Has proven to be a great buy for the Eels, capping a fine season with a team high 220 run metres and a couple of try involvements in the upset win over the Sharks on Sunday.

3. Herbie Farnworth (Dolphins): The world’s best centre seems to be in this team more weeks than not - was superb again with a try and 200 run metres in the convincing win over the Roosters on Saturday night.
Could lead the Dolphins to the premiership, he’s that good.

4. Tallis Duncan (Rabbitohs): The second-rower turned centre continued his wonderful run of form for the Rabbitohs, crossing for two late tries on the Gold Coast to secure his team a spot in finals football.

5. Siulagi Tuimalatu-Brown (Storm): The best game of his short first grade career, bagging a hat trick and topping the run metres for both teams in the big win over the Broncos on Friday night. Looks to have a great future.

6. Clayton Faulalo (Sea Eagles): Versatile utility back may well have secured himself the five-eighth spot at Brookvale next season with a slick display against the dreadful Dragons, scoring a try and creating three more on Friday night.

7. Isaiya Katoa (Dolphins): Led his team to a mighty win over the Roosters despite at one stage being reduced to 11 men with two in the sin bin. Brilliant game management and kicking game.

8: Mitch Barnett (Warriors): Won the battle up front over the physical Knights pack - albeit a man down - with nearly 200 run metres and some big hits in defence.

9. Wayde Egan (Warriors): Playing as well as any hooker in the league - scored one try and laid on another as the Warriors made a bold bid for the minor premiership against the Knights at GoMedia Stadium on Sunday.
