‘Reece who?’: Broncos bargain buy spoils legend’s farewell game

3. Herbie Farnworth (Dolphins): The world’s best centre made a couple of errors but more than made up for that with two tries, an assist and by generally terrorising the Parramatta defence out wide. Will be a massive danger man in the finals.

4. Josh Feledy (Sea Eagles): Showed great awareness to score an authentic hat-trick - three straight tries - all from close range after coming off the bench in the big upset win over Newcastle.

5. Jeral Skelton (Tigers): Scored two tries and made a series of thundering runs down the flank in the shock defeat of the Roosters at Allianz Stadium Sunday.

6. Clayton Faulalo (Sea Eagles): Versatile utility back shone at the key five-eighth spot in Newcastle on Saturday, scoring the opening try after just two minutes to set the tone for the day and having a hand in several others.

7. Nathan Cleary (Panthers): Got the Panthers home in a tricky match against the Storm in which they were at one stage down to 11 players with his clever game management. Laid on two tries and kicked smartly to round off another polished display.
