"I can't find the Belmont biscuits that used to be rectangular and have a milk creme filling on top of chocolate coated biscuit," they shared on Reddit's 'Aldi Australia' thread.
"They were the bomb. And now I can't find them and my life has been diminished. Have... they been discontinued?!"

One Redditor commiserated, writing: "I feel you. Everything i found and got to love from aldi has been cruelly taken away from me. I rage inside, but still go there with a spark of hope. That is diminishing."
This isn't the first time a beloved Aldi biscuit has disappeared, leaving shoppers distraught.
Earlier this year Belmont European Palazzo biscuits also appeared to vanish.
"Where have they gone?" one shared on Reddit.
"Hi everyone, I have desperately trying to find these in a number of Aldi stores to no avail. Where are they? Where have they gone? What do I do?" they wrote.
"They were really good and I am now VERY sad they're (seemingly) gone."

Thankfully Belmont European Palazzo biscuits returned shortly after, although they regularly sell out and can sometimes be difficult to come by.
The packets had also been redesigned, making them a little harder to spot at first.
At $2.99 shoppers could be forgiven for stocking up on several packets when they do locate them.

As with the Belmont European Palazzo biscuits, the absence of Belmont Choco Biscuit Bars is temporary, made a little more complicated by a number of changes.
Firstly, Belmont Choco Biscuits have been renamed.
They are now called Choceur Choco & Biscuit. They have also undergone a packaging change.

And a third change is that they no longer sit in the biscuit aisle. Instead, they have been moved to the chocolate aisle.
Aldi Australia confirmed the news to nine.com.au and a quick trip to my local Aldi confirmed all of this.
The newly named Choceur Choco & Biscuit were found on the bottom shelf in the chocolate aisle. They cost $6.99 for a nine pack of the biscuits/chocolate bars.
They now come in three flavours: The original Chocolate & Biscuit Milk, Choco & Biscuit Cappuccino, and Choco & Biscuit Cookies 'n' Crème.

The rebrand makes sense, particularly when you consider the ratio of chocolate to biscuit in Choceur Choco & Biscuit products.
Aldi's Choceur range is affordable and has received recognition for its quality, affordability and popularlity.
In July, Aldi's own annual awards resulted in the Choceur range being named The People's Pick of 2025 and the range also took out The Socialite Award for it's Salted Pretzel flavour. Peanut Butter was named Best Newcomer.
