'Feeling a lot of emotions today': Kamala Harris' stepdaughter Ella Emhoff shares emotional message on Inauguration Day
Kamala Harris' stepdaughter has shared an emotional message on Inauguration Day.
In a candid post on the day of Donald Trump's second inauguration, Ella Emhoff, 25, reflected on her stepmother's four years as the US Vice President coming to an end.
"I know we are all feeling a lot of emotions today," Emhoff wrote on Instagram.

Ella is the youngest child of now former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, who has been married to Harris since 2014.
The 25-year-old shared photos from her time in Washington with her brother Cole, including several taken on their stepmother and former President Joe Biden's Inauguration Day in 2021.
Ella, who studied at Parsons School of Design in New York, made headlines on the occasion wearing a Miu Miu coat over a burgundy Batsheva gown.
In her recent post, Ella held up a framed photograph of her from the inauguration.

"I'm truly feeling the full spectrum of emotions right now as I reflect on the past 4 years," the fashion designer continued her message.
The former Second Daughter told her 500,000 followers she was "so grateful for everyone who has supported me during this period of my life."
The 25-year-old got candid about her stepmother's time in Washington, admitting the four years had, "Some of my highest highs and lowest lows."
"For those who made it harder, you suck," she delivered a pointed message.

Ella reflected, "It's been truly insane and a honor being the 2nd daughter."
"Thank you for letting me do it in my own way," she concluded.

In a follow-up message to her Instagram Stories, Ella told her followers: "Love you all."
"Thank you for all the kindness today," she added.
Ella has supported her stepmother throughout her term, even blasting 'childless cat lady' comments directed at Harris by Vice President JD Vance.
Harris is stepmother to Ella and Cole Emhoff, who call her 'Momala'.
In a 2019 essay for Elle magazine, Harris wrote about Ella and Cole deciding to give her the nickname instead of calling her 'stepmum' after she married their father Doug.

Harris said her stepchildren were "brilliant, talented, funny kids who have grown to be remarkable adults."
She tweeted at the time: "Of all the titles I've ever had, Momala is my favorite."
