Australian acting legend Paul Hogan made a rare appearance as he walked the red carpet for the film's Encore Cut release.
Hogan said he was very excited to be there.
"It's just amazing," Hogan told 9Entertainment after seeing all the fans turn up.

All eyes were on the Aussie superstar as he posed outside the Westpac OpenAir cinema.
Paying homage to his iconic character, the star stepped out in tan leather jacket paired with black tailored pants and shirt.
The 85-year-old was all smiles as he greeted both fans and guests attending the spectacular event.

Today presenter Richard Wilkins interviewed Hogan on the red carpet.
The Encore Cut features a meticulous restoration celebrating Australia's favourite hero.
Hogan promised fans that the new restored film "looked great".

Hogan posed in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a sweet nod to his humble beginnings as a Sydney Harbour Bridge rigger.
"It was a fabulous view, I liked heights – the freedom I felt," he said looking back.
"It was the best job I had until acting," he laughed

Darren Palmer walked the red carpet with his 16-year-old son Hugo.
The Block judge, 47, and his son were matching in black ensembles.
