Heidi Klum reveals terrifying severed hand Halloween costume for annual party

Supermodel and Halloween queen Heidi Klum has finally revealed her costume for her annual celeb-filled party.

Her jaw-dropping costume is one of her most gruesome creations - a severed hand.

The staggering costume came complete with flesh, bone, blood, tendons and even a full set of manicured nails and rings.

Fans, who were waiting hours for the reveal, took to the online comments in shock.

“Omg worth the wait!” one wrote.

“Genuinely ZERO chance I would have guessed this,” another said.

Before the big reveal, Klum posted videos and photos of her makeup from up-close, giving fans a sneak peek.

The hints included an array of flesh-looking tubes, exploding latex balls of fake blood and up close shots of what appeared to be grotesque bubbling lip.

Every year Klum hosts a blow-out Halloween party stacked with celebrity attendees, though she always strives to be the best dressed in costumes complete with special effects makeup and full-body transformations.

She also wasn’t the only guest who opted for an outlandish look this year.

German model Laura Abla pulled off a bizarre Madonna, Britney Spears and Christina Aguliera costume, paying homage to their 2003 MTV music video awards performance.

Influencer James Charles went all out for his look, becoming Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove.

Meanwhile, Little Mix star Jade Thirwall went as a stone gargoyle.

Influencer Haylee Kalil went as Lola from the 2004 animated kids’ movie Shark tale.

German celeb couple Rebecca Mir and Massimo Sinató went for a pop culture reference, dressing up as the characters from The Matrix.

Supermodel Karen Mulder showed up dressed as late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld - she even had a toy cat to complete the outfit.

There were some costumes which aimed to share a message, including Kim Hnizdo’s silver and white robot creation.

The German model has a sign as part of her costume that read: “Humanity is pregnant with its own extinction.”

There was also the creative costume from Julia de Boer, who dressed up as an ostrich.

Other costumes included Wonder Woman, washed up sailors, football players and other movie references.

Last year Kum dressed as Medusa in a gorgon outfit complete with a tail and makeup covering her whole body, and in 2024 she arrived in an E.T. outfit.

One of her most famous outfits was a worm.

Last week, she shared an up-close shot of what appeared to be props or special effects parts made to look like human organs.

Klum captioned the snap, “What’s my costume? One week to go.”

Some fans were horrified by the “disgusting” photo, but others immediately started speculating on what her costume could be.

Many suspected she’d be dressing as the creature from The Substance, the 2024 body horror flick that earned star Demi Moore an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.

Others suggested the model may be planning a costume based on an autopsy, or some sort of decaying sea creature.
