Room Reveal: Courtney and Sev’s Kids’ Bedroom and Redo Room
Courtney and Sev are fresh off the back of last weeks win, can they pull off another one?
Courtney and Sev opted for a bold colour pallette this week as they took on their kid’s bedroom. They also decided to pick their living room as their redo room.

Upon entry, the judges were blown away by the colour-drenched palette. “This is sweet,” Shaynna said. Darren added the room had “everything you can possibly do” in a children’s bedroom.

Shaynna noted “this is the first room we’ve seen on the block with colour, and it’s perfectly executed.” Marty agreed, saying despite the bright colour pallette it didn’t feel “overdone for the sake of it.”

“This is what Courtney and Sev do super well, they innovate with their creative thinking,” Darren said.

The judges agreed the room could be “aged-up” as the only thing that needs to be changed to make it age appropriate is the styling.

They also loved the cupboard and study nook. “They put their attention into the area’s that needed it most, like using the right joinery and the right functionality,” Shaynna said.

The judges summed the room up in one word: “Excellent.”

As the judges entered Courtney and Sev’s redo room, Darren shouted out “YES!” They immediately loved the addition of the fireplace and bronze mirror.

Marty added it was the “best” fireplaces on the block this season, before adding the changes were “perfect.”
