ARN confirms radio veteran, AFL legend and Aussie stylist for KIIS Melbourne Breakfast gig

A little over a week after announcing the line-up for KIIS FM Sydney Breakfast, ARN has now confirmed the new hosts for KIIS FM Melbourne Breakfast.

Ash London, Isaac Smith and Elliot Garnaut will lead the morning drive show, taking over after The Kyle and Jackie O Show was axed from airwaves.

London is a well-known name in Australian radio and a trusted voice when it comes to entertainment and pop culture.

Joining her in the hosting gig is four-time AFL premiership player Isaac Smith and leading Aussie fashion stylist, Elliot Garnaut.

The trio will be joined each morning by Georgia Love, who is stepping into the role of newsreader for KIIS Breakfast.

The news comes a week and a half after Dr Chris Brown, Amy Gerard and Jack Charles were announced as the hosts of KIIS FM Sydney Breakfast.

Rumours had been swirling about who would take over for months, ever since the long-running Kyle and Jackie O Show came to an end.

ARN previously syndicated their Sydney-based Kyle & Jackie O Show to Melbourne, but it failed to achieve the desired ratings.

Brown’s name had been one of many floating around the rumour mill.

He started his Aussie media career in the early 2000s when he appeared on Harry’s Practice, and soon became a mainstay on our screens with Bondi Vet, The Living Room and I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

“Waking up with the city I love and bringing a huge dose of real life, warmth and (hopefully) humour is truly a dream come true,” Brown said of his new gig.

“This show will be all about sharing our mornings, some laughs and maybe a few secrets together. I can’t wait. Plus, these hours are also a great way to beat the Bondi Road traffic so it’s a win-win.”

He’ll be joined by Amy Gerard who recently won Aussies over as a regular fill-in host on KIIS Breakfast and host of KIIS Weekends, and Jack Charles who has departed competitor Nova after 11 years and says he is “pumped” to be joining KIIS.
