Tiffiny Hall opens up about romance with Ed Kavalee ahead of their 10th anniversary

Before they even met, Ed Kavalee fell head over heels for Tiffiny Hall and predicted their future.

At the time, Hall, who is an Australian personal trainer and television personality, was the Gladiator Angel on the popular television show Gladiators. Kavalee, an Australian comedian and actor, was watching from home and turned to his housemate to make a bold statement.

"I'm going to marry that girl on the TV," he declared and the rest is history.

Ahead of their 10 year wedding anniversary this October, Hall opened up about this moment and the loving relationship that has followed on the latest episode of her podcast Bounce Forward.

After seeing her on the TV, Kavalee's crush grew.

At the time, he was working as a broadcaster and was given the opportunity to interview Hall, among the other Gladiators, and took his chance.

"Here I am about to go out and compete, so focused, and this guy is trying to chat me up," Hall explains.

Trying to stay focused, Hall was not having it and brushed him off.

"I didn't even remember meeting him, to be honest. But he didn't give up."

Despite their lacklustre first meeting, Kavalee felt strongly about Hall and attempted to use his radio gig to woo Hall during her Gladiators press tour.

He invited her onto the "breakfast radio show he was doing at the time" for an interview and Hall obliged.

"We had a great interview, and a lot of chemistry."

After that first interview Kavalee went on to invite her back again and again.

The third time she went in for an interview with him, Hall cut to the chase.

"I said to him 'look do you want my number? Because it would be a lot easier to just call me and chat rather than having me come in to do an interview on the radio station," she explained.

They exchanged numbers and six years later they married in a "beautiful" and "very traditional" ceremony except for the fact that she "decorated the tables with veggies".

Soon the pair, who share two children together, will be celebrating 10 years of marriage.

To honour the occasion Hall says they plan to put on their dress and suit from their wedding day and eat Uber Eats at home.

"I can't wait for that," she says.
