Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin is coming to Australia in November for a string of special screenings of the classic Christmas film, 35 years after its initial release.
The festive movie will be shown in three cinemas across the country as part of the Home Alone: A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin tour, including the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, the Regent Theatre in Melbourne and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.

Culkin will visit Brisbane on November 24, before heading to Melbourne on November 27 and Sydney on November 29.
Culkin is slated to attend all three events and participate in a moderated live interview with the audience following the screening.
Mega-fans can even opt for the VIP Meet and Greet Package, which gives fans the opportunity to meet Culkin and take a photo with him.
VIP packages start at $399, while General Admission tickets are priced between $106 to $179, depending on the section.
The event is all-ages friendly, with tickets going on presale on September 21 at 11am. The general sale will start at 11am on September 23.
Culkin shot to fame at 10 years old after starring in Home Alone as the rambunctious Kevin McCallister.
Following his Hollywood debut, he became one of the most successful child actors of all time.
He appeared in Michael Jackson’s ‘Black or White’ music video and starred in the successful movies My Girl, The Good Son, Richie Rich, Getting Even with Dad and, of course, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
In 1998, Culkin appeared to suffer burnout and took a break from acting. Twenty years later, he later discussed his decision on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"I was tired of it, to be honest. I did like 14 movies in six years or something like that," Culkin said in the 2018 interview.
"I was away from home a lot. I was away from school. I needed something else … It was the smartest thing I could have possibly done was to take eight years off."
The star has slowly gotten back into acting, with his most recent role as Cattrick Lynxley in Zootopia 2.
He also stars in the hit Amazon Prime Series Fallout as Lacerta Legate.

Culkin also gives fans updates on his life through his social media pages, including posting photos of himself and his partner, former Disney-star Brenda Song.
Song made her name on the Disney channel’s original series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as the bubbly London Tipton.
The couple have been together since 2017, and were engaged in 2022. The pair are not married, but share two children – Dakota, three, and Carson, two.
