Every show coming to Channel 9 in 2027 including The Block’s biggest shake-up and MAFS’ boldest return

Nine has announced its biggest line-up of TV shows yet, and with it, some fresh new faces for the coming year.

Married At First Sight welcomes a new relationship expert, The Block takes on the most ambitious shake-up in the show’s history, while Golden Bachelor Australia promises double the trouble for 2027.

In addition to exciting new programming in 2027, there’s still so much incredible entertainment to come later this year, as announced during Nine’s annual Upfronts event.

Expect the biggest ever year of sport, plus an unmatched slate of news, entertainment and current affairs coverage from the 9Network, the only Australian-owned, fully integrated media network.

Biggest shake-ups set for 2027

The Block

In 2027, Australia’s biggest renovation show will take on the most ambitious project in the show’s history.

Season 23 will see five new teams tackle epic heritage restorations after two years of new builds. The 2027 Block location has also been confirmed: Jacksons Hill in Sunbury, Victoria.

The historic site boasts some of the state’s oldest and most magnificent heritage architecture, with buildings constructed 170 years ago.

Returning to co-host, Scott Cam and Shelley Craft will challenge next year’s newest Blockheads to preserve and revitalise these landmark buildings while transforming them into high-quality family homes.

The Block: The House Next Door

That’s right, 2027 can expect a brand-new Block spin-off series.

Premiering in 2027 on Stan, The Block: The House Next Door will give Blockheads plenty to talk about when fan-favourite all-stars tackle a sixth renovation over the fence.

The Golden Bachelor

After capturing the heart of the nation, The Golden Bachelor Australia returns to the 9Network bigger, bolder and with the double the romance.

In a major new twist, Season 2 will feature two very different Golden Bachelors, each bringing their own story, personality and approach to love as they find their second chance at forever.

That’s right, not one but two Golden Bachelors.

And this time, the power of choice is in the women’s hands. Our remarkable group of vibrant Australian women will have the opportunity to follow their hearts, choose their own path and decide which Golden Bachelor could be the one for them.

Beloved host Samantha Armytage returns in a season that brings twice the heartbreak, unexpected twists and plenty of unforgettable golden moments.

Married At First Sight

Australia’s No.1 reality TV show and most talked-about social experiment will make its highly anticipated return for Season 14.

MAFS experts Alessandra Rampolla John Aiken will return alongside the newest addition to the expert team, highly respected relationship expert Marryam Chehelnabi.

The 2027 season promises sharp twists, explosive dynamics, fiery Dinner Parties, with romance at the very centre of every story.

Stan Original series,MAFS: After The Dinner Party, streaming exclusively on Stan with hosts Jules Lund, Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne will also make a hot return.

Travel Guides

Hot on the heels of winning its fifth consecutive TV Week Logie, Travel Guides is back in 2027 with a new and returning cast announced.

All of our original Guides will return: the Fren Family, Kevin and Janetta, Matt and Brett, Kev, Dorian and Teng, and Karly and Bri.

And after their debut last year, Callum and Mitch from Love Island, and married country musicians Brooke and Adam, are back for more fun in the sun.

Plus, there will be three new cast groups joining the action: married couple and fan favourites from The Block, Tom and Sarah-Jane; Olympic swimming royalty and sisters Cate and Bronte Campbell; and best mates Fletch and Lachie, hot off travelling the world and creating their own way of accessible travel under the handle Two Mates 1 Chair.

This year our Guides will hit ten more bucket-list destinations: from the Pyramids of Giza, to the shores of Santorini, and wonderfully weird tropical North Queensland.

Today enters a new era in 2027, confirming hosts Sylvia Jeffreys and Tom Steinfort to helm Nine’s breakfast show.

Offering a fresh and light-hearted take on news, entertainment, lifestyle and celebrity, Today Extra returns each weekday from 9.00am with David Campbell and new host Belinda Russell.

The 2027 Australian Open will headline a smashing summer of tennis on Nine to kickstart the year of exclusive coverage of all four Grand Slams.
