Nine has announced its biggest line-up of TV shows yet, and with it, some fresh new faces for the coming year.

Married At First Sight welcomes a new relationship expert, The Block takes on the most ambitious shake-up in the show’s history, while Golden Bachelor Australia promises double the trouble for 2027.

In addition to exciting new programming in 2027, there’s still so much incredible entertainment to come later this year, as announced during Nine’s annual Upfronts event.

Expect the biggest ever year of sport, plus an unmatched slate of news, entertainment and current affairs coverage from the 9Network, the only Australian-owned, fully integrated media network.

Biggest shake-ups set for 2027

The Block will be back but not as you know it.  Nine

The Block

In 2027, Australia’s biggest renovation show will take on the most ambitious project in the show’s history.

Season 23 will see five new teams tackle epic heritage restorations after two years of new builds. The 2027 Block location has also been confirmed: Jacksons Hill in Sunbury, Victoria.

The historic site boasts some of the state’s oldest and most magnificent heritage architecture, with buildings constructed 170 years ago.

Returning to co-host, Scott Cam and Shelley Craft will challenge next year’s newest Blockheads to preserve and revitalise these landmark buildings while transforming them into high-quality family homes.

The Block: The House Next Door
