‘False narrative’: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding guest shuts ‘chaos’ rumours

Tavia Hunt, wife of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, has shut down rumours that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding was “chaotic” and “tacky.”

Hunt, 54, slammed reports that guests were forced to wait in long lines for food and that the venue ran out of champagne in an Instagram comment.

“This is such a false narrative,” she wrote underneath a video explaining the apparent chaos inside Madison Square Garden.

“They did not run out of champagne. There were not long lines. Every single person was seated for the ceremony.”

She went on to say the ceremony and vows were “spectacular”.

“[It was] Beautiful, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect. It could not have been a more fabulous experience.”

“And frankly, it is inappropriate to say things like this when you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. That is hearsay – not truth.”

Tavia is married to the owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, Clark Hunt, which is the NFL team that Travis Kelce plays for.

In the video Tavia commented under, podcast host Zack Peter read out a report from one media outlet that suggested the night didn’t run smoothly.

“Apparently some of the wedding guests were not happy,” Peter started the video by saying.

“[One outlet] writes ‘The event was meant to be a magical celebration, Taylor Swift’s love story … but guests have been complaining post-event about how tacky and chaotic scenes inside were, which saw the champagne running dry really early and long queues for buffet food.’”

He gave his own commentary in the video, adding “with 1,000 guests, you need to have a s--- ton of champagne ready on hand all day, every day.”

Of course, all types of details have come out following the wedding, including information about Swift’s dress, the grand garden party decor that awaited guests inside the arena and the couple’s emotional 40-minute-long vows during the ceremony.

Some guests who attended gave on-the-record accounts of what happened on the night to US media outlets, with their thoughts summed up by one word: Magical.

No one who spoke on record mentioned any issues with food or alcohol supply levels.

One guest, Grammy Award-winning music producer Smittybeatz, told Page Six he had a lovely night.

“All I can say is that it was a beautiful ceremony and a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple,” he told the outlet. “I’m extremely happy for the both of them.”

“They turned the Garden into a garden of love and wonderment. It was timeless. Again, very happy for them both. They are soulmates for sure.”

Childhood friend of Kelce, Jermski, echoed the sentiment.

“It was the most beautiful event I’ve ever been to in my life,” he told Page Six.

Even Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, said while she wasn’t able to say much, the event was “magical.”
