Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are red carpet official!
The pop star and politician couple, who first sparked dating rumours in July 2025, were hand in hand for the premiere of Perry’s concert film, The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris.

They put on a loved-up display for cameras at the Tribeca Festival premiere, looking perfectly in sync in monochrome looks.
The former Canadian prime minister, 54, wore a simple back suit with white shirt, while Perry, 41, was statuesque in a Grecian-style white gown.
It marked their official red-carpet debut as a couple, after almost a year of dating.
Their relationship first grabbed headlines in July 2025 when TMZ published photos of them dining at a swanky restaurant in Montreal, before photos of them canoodling on Perry’s yacht came out months later in October.
Then came their social media hard launches in December.
Trudeau went first, albeit with help from a very unlikely source.
The former Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, shared a photo of himself and his wife with Trudeau and “his partner” on social media, celebrating their enduring friendship despite both no longer leading their countries.

“Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko,” Trudeau responded.
Days later, Perry did her own launching, this time without the help of a former world leader.

Perry uploaded a series of photos and videos to Instagram of a trip to Tokyo, where she performed for her Lifetimes Tour, and included Trudeau in the carousel for the first time.
Since then, the pair have made many appearances on each other’s social media, and have attended events such as Coachella as a pair.
Trudeau separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, in August 2023. They share children Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 17, and Hadrien, 12.

Perry and ex-fiance Orlando Bloom confirmed their split in June 2025 and co-parent their five-year-old daughter, Daisy.
