Jeremy Clarkson reveals Kaleb Cooper ‘isn’t talking to him’ over ‘harebrained schemes’
Jeremy Clarkson has revealed his Diddly Squat farm partner Kaleb Cooper is “not speaking to him” following the Top Gear alum’s latest suggestions for the farm.
Clarkson, 66, and Cooper, 28, are known for their hilarious dynamic on the Amazon series, which follows Clarkson trying to run a profitable farm in Oxfordshire, England.

Cooper is usually the one reeling in Clarkson’s spending and acts as a sounding board for any new business decisions.
However, it seems this time, Clarkson may have taken it a few steps too far, with the TV star-turned farmer admitting his partner-in-crime is currently not speaking to him.
“Kaleb is not talking to me,” he admitted in his weekly Sunday Times column.
“He says I’ve got to stop coming up with harebrained schemes without thinking them through.

He confessed that he thought planting a fields-worth of flax seed would “be his fortune” but didn’t realise until after he planted it that the crop needs to be harvested by hand.
It would take a 40-person team over 50 hours a week to harvest all the flax in time, before it starts to rot.
“[Cooper] pointed out that as there’s no way in hell we will be able to collect everything we grew, the vast majority will just sit there, being s--t on by dogs until it has decomposed.
“But imagine if we have enough to make an F1 car. How cool would that be? To watch it thundering round the track thinking, I grew that.”

Flax fibres can be woven into a bio-composite material that replaces traditional fibreglass or carbon filters. It was first done by engineering students at Eindhoven University of Technology, in the Netherlands in 2018.
Flax can also be eaten as a dietary fibre, or used to make linen fabrics.
Clarkson’s farming series is currently filming its sixth season. There never seems to be a quiet day on the farm where everything goes to plan.
Just last month, Clarkson revealed his harvest was ruined due to soaring temperatures in the UK.
“Harvest already f---ed. May as well just enjoy it now,” Clarkson wrote on Instagram alongside a screenshot of the weather forecast.
The latest season started filming a few months after Clarkson revealed his battle with prostate cancer.

In the final episodes of the Clarkson’s Farm season 5, he told Cooper and Charlie Ireland about his diagnosis.
“I had a medical, you remember, back in May? I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it’s aggressive, but it’s really early,” he said.
“I was praying we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment but it’s going to be slap bang in the middle.”
Around one week after the episode aired, Clarkson shared that he is now in remission.
“The more observant among you will have noticed that I’m not dead. And I’m not just not dead, I’m perfectly fine,” he joked in a video shared to Instagram.
“The reason why I’m fine is because the doctors caught the prostate cancer early. And they caught it early because I got tested.”
The news of Clarkson’s TV return comes just months after he shared a shock cancer diagnosis, which he is currently in remission for. Amazon
He urged his followers to get tested. “It’s not uncomfortable, it’s not undignified. And it’s a no-brainer,” he said.
“I did, and that’s why I’m sitting here talking to you 11 months down the line. I’ve seen so many people die of cancer.”
