‘I’m not dead’: Jeremy Clarkson reveals he is in remission from cancer
Jeremy Clarkson has offered a health update after revealing his cancer diagnosis on his show Clarkson’s Farm earlier in the week.
Taking to Instagram, the 66-year-old shared a message with fans while walking in nature.

“The more observant among you will have noticed that I’m not dead. And I’m not just not dead, I’m perfectly fine,” he joked sarcastically.
He pressed his fans to get tested.
“The reason why I’m fine is because the doctors caught the prostate cancer early. And they caught it early because I got tested,” he said.
The TV personality is well aware of the reservations many people have about getting their prostate tested, especially due to the invasive nature of the test, but he assured them he got diagnosed via a blood test.
He even urged his fans to “lie” if their doctors refused to test them on the grounds of not having any symptoms.

In Australia, it is estimated that there were 28,868 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in 2025, with 3,975 estimated deaths from the disease, making up 13 per cent of all male deaths from cancer in 2025.
Clarkson opened up about his diagnosis and treatment in an interview with The Times published this morning, telling them undergoing the treatment means he’s “cheated death”, which made him “the world’s luckiest man”.
The Top Gear star gave more insight into his treatment, sharing that he was offered “a bewildering amount of choices”, in the end opting for high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU).
This minimally invasive procedure involves having a probe inserted into the rectum that destroys cancer cells. The technology is even used cosmetically, mostly for facials.
Just two months ago, Clarkson was told during a follow-up PSA test that his cancer was officially in remission.
However, he is not completely out of the woods, needing to monitor everything to prevent having a recurrence, which up to 40 per cent of those prostate cancer patients suffer from again.
He again urged his fans to get themselves checked, saying. “It’s not uncomfortable, it’s not undignified. And it’s a no-brainer.
“I did, and that’s why I’m sitting here talking to you 11 months down the line. I’ve seen so many people die of cancer.”
The TV star first revealed the cancer diagnosis in the season finale of his show, Clarkson’s Farm.

He told farm manager Kaleb Cooper and agricultural consultant Charlie Ireland, “I’ve got cancer.”
Cooper was shocked as he replied: “No, you haven’t. Where?”
“Where it is is of no concern of anybody. I’ve known since May,” Clarkson said.
“I had a medical, you remember back in May. I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it’s aggressive, but it’s really early so the treatment will be, you know.
“I was praying we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment but it’s going to be slap bang in the middle.”
Viewers were left with the image of the presenter lying in a hospital bed after experiencing complications during treatment.
He clarified to The Times that this was caused by him resuming a course of tablets he had been on for vascular and cardiac treatments without consulting his doctors first.
