“Ziggy Rumi Salijevic arrived in our lives on 19 August,”  the caption started.

“He has completely rocked our world, and we’ve loved disappearing into our baby bubble these past few days.

“Ziggy means victorious peace in German. It pays homage to Tyson’s German roots and feels deeply symbolic of the enormous journey we’ve been on to create our family. When I looked into my son’s eyes and saw the old soul behind them, I knew his middle name had to be Rumi.”

Sheila went on to thank the doctors and medical team who helped them get here.

From the doctor who helped her become a donor mum for the second time at 49, to her obstetrician and the rest of the nurses and staff at the hospital where she delivered and those who kept their first child Phoenix “loved and entertained” while they welcomed their new bub.

“My first birth was filled with anxiety. There are so many unknowns the first time, and for me, that made it harder to surrender and be present. We also had the unique experience of the Big Miracles camera crew in theatre with us. They had become like family, so welcoming them into that chapter felt natural,” she continued.

“This time was different. No camera crew. Quieter and more intimate.”

“For so many years, creating this family was a dream. Then it became a journey. At times, an incredibly difficult one. And now, it is our life,” she wrote.
