Here, we've collated the full countdown for your viewing pleasure – ranking every episode ever.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer premiered in 1997 and ran for seven seasons.
The series received critical and popular acclaim, and is often listed among the greatest television series of all time. It's still admired by long-time fans with new audiences discovering the show through streaming services, like Stan.
The series follows Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar), the latest in a succession of young women known as "Vampire Slayers".
Slayers are chosen by fate to battle against vampires, demons and other forces of darkness. Buffy wants to live a normal life, but learns to embrace her destiny as the series progresses. Like previous Slayers, she is aided by a Watcher, Giles (Anthony Stewart Head) who guides, teaches and trains her.
Unlike her predecessors, Buffy surrounds herself with loyal friends who become known as the "Scoobies", notably her best friends Xander (Nicholas Brendon) and Willow (Alyson Hannigan).
Cordelia Chase (Charisma Carpenter), shallow cheerleader, reluctantly becomes involved. Daniel "Oz" Osbourne (Seth Green), a fellow student, rock guitarist and werewolf, joins the group through his relationship with Willow. Angel (David Boreanaz), a vampire cursed with a soul, is Buffy's love interest throughout the first three seasons.
Later seasons introduce Spike (James Marsters), a vampire and one of Buffy's major enemies in early seasons, although he and Buffy later become allies and lovers. Anya (Emma Caulfield) is a former vengeance demon became Xander's lover, before joining the Scoobies in season four.
In the show's fourth season, Buffy becomes involved personally and professionally with Riley (Marc Blucas), a military operative in "the Initiative", which hunts demons using science and technology.
As the series progressed, Willow became a more assertive character and a powerful witch, leading to her relationship with Tara (Amber Benson).
In the show's fifth season we're introduced to Buffy's younger sister Dawn Summers (Michelle Trachtenberg).

140. Season 2 Episode 12: Bad Eggs
For starters, there are no bad episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, but if there was to an episode that comes close to being bad, it's Bad Eggs.
The supernatural elements in the series stood as metaphors for personal anxieties associated with adolescence and young adulthood.
Bad Eggs uses this metaphor a little too absurdly.
In health class, the teacher, Mr. Whitmore, assigns everybody an egg to look after. Buffy and her friends encounter even more trouble than expected when these eggs turn out be prehistoric parasites that take over their lives.
One fan wrote of the episode: "It's a waste of time."
"They can't all be winners, especially when you have 22 episode seasons like Buffy did," another added.
139. Season 1 Episode 4: Teacher's Pet
Buffy's first season can be a difficult watch.
It's an uneven mix of horror and camp, and no episode does this more than Teacher's Pet.
In Teacher's Pet, a substitute teacher, Ms French develops a strange infatuation with Xander who naturally becomes a flattered lovesick teen. The situation is alarming to Buffy (and the rest of us) and it's revealed that Ms French is actually a praying mantis.
When Xander arrives at Miss French's house, she greets him in a provocative dress and offers him a martini. The drink knocks him out as she transforms into a giant insect. Xander wakes up in a cage next to a fellow Sunnydale High student, who tells him how she mates like a praying mantis, biting off men's heads in the process.
138. Season 6 Episode 11: Doublemeat Palace
Season six of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the most controversial among its ardent fandom because it was dramatically darker in tone than previous seasons.
Buffy, while adjusting to her resurrection (more about that later) now has to adjust to being an adult. Now having to deal with grown-up responsibilities like parenting her little sister and working.
Doublemeat Palace finds Buffy humbled by taking on a job at a fast food restaurant but soon becomes paranoid about the mysterious secret ingredient in the food.
137. Season 4 Episode 5: Beer Bad
You might need a drink before this one...
When Buffy is befriended by a group of upperclassmen who convince her to drown her sorrows with them, bartender Xander becomes suspicious when Buffy and her new friends return to their primordial roots.

136. Season 1 Episode 8: I, Robot... You, Jane
Some of Buffy's technical references haven't quite dated so well over the years.
Buffy and Giles face a demon spirit who has been trapped since the Dark Ages and is unleashed into cyberspace.
Meanwhile, Willow has fallen for a cyber-beau whom she met online and Xander and Buffy are wary of who this anonymous wooer may turn out to be.
135. Season 2 Episode 18: Killed by Death
Buffy is admitted to the hospital with a raging fever where she encounters a young child who brings with him nightmares of Buffy's past and present.
Meanwhile, a jealous Cordelia looks on as Xander protects a weakened Buffy from Angel's fury.
134. Season 2 Episode 2: Some Assembly Required
When the body parts of dead girls are discovered missing from their graves, Buffy and her posse discover that the parts are being used to create the perfect woman, with the final touch being Cordelia's head.
Meanwhile, Giles finally musters the nerve to ask fellow teacher Ms. Calendar out on a date and Angel admits his jealousy over the amount of time Buffy spends with Xander.
133. Season 2 Episode 5: Reptile Boy
Buffy and Cordelia become unlikely party pals when at a fraternity bash they are offered as human sacrifices to Machida, a horrible half-man, half-snake creature.
