Immy’s career is defined by a lifelong obsession with the intersection of digital media and television. After getting his start as a teen volunteer for US-based TV sites, he transitioned into the Australian professional landscape at Telstra BigPond, managing high-traffic TV, Movies and music homepages.
In 2008, he joined Nine as a Digital Content Producer and has since become a cornerstone of the network's digital evolution. Celebrating 18 years with Nine in April 2026, Immy has spearheaded content for the country’s biggest franchises, including 20 seasons of The Block and every Australian season of Married at First Sight, LEGO Masters, and Love Island Australia. His strategic footprint includes founding Nine’s Social Media team and Social Media Strategy and Policy and playing a pivotal role in the foundational launches of 9Jumpin, 9Now, and Stan.

Education
Immy graduated from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2008 with a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in TV Production. In 2015, Immy was nominated for B&T’s 30 Under 30 in the Media category.

Immy currently serves as a Board Director for the Pride Business Association, leveraging his professional expertise to support LGBTQIA+ commerce and visibility.
Within the media industry, he is a dedicated advocate for inclusion, serving as the Co-chair of Nine Pride and works with Media Pride. His long-standing commitment to the network was highlighted by his 18-year milestone in 2026, marking him as a veteran of the digital and broadcast space. Television is a big passion for Immy, citing favourite shows as The Good Place, Twin Peaks, Arrested Development, Survivor, The Comeback, Seinfeld and his absolute number one pick, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
