Arrest made after man dies in Perth stabbing

A man is in custody after another man died of his stab wounds in Perth’s south.
The victim, 44, was found with serious injuries at the intersection of Mandurah Road and Chesterfield Road in East Rockingham about 7.30 on Friday night by emergency services.

On Saturday afternoon, police announced they had arrested another man, who is currently assisting police.
A car believed to be connected to the stabbing was later found burnt out on Pitman Road in Byford.
Police are asking anyone who saw a blue Hyundai Getz driving erratically within Rockingham and Byford is urged to contact police.
Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage that may show some of the incident are also asked to come forward.
