Todd Woodbridge’s shock as mum forced on show by kids wins life-changing jackpot
Bec, mum-of-five from Geelong, had no idea she would be competing on Tipping Point Australia, let alone playing for a life-changing $20,000 jackpot win.
And neither did host Todd Woodbridge who was shocked to learn her middle daughter Ruby was the brains behind the brilliant idea. She even planned exactly how her mum would win.

“Ruby, you put mum up to this?” the Gold Logie nominee asked in surprise.
“We watch [Tipping Point] every night, so I knew she would smash it if she went on,” smiled Ruby. “So I said, that’s it, you’re going on. She didn’t really say anything, so I signed her up.”
The mum and nurse from Geelong, who has five kids ranging from 11 to 23 years old, confirmed daughter Ruby did sign her up for the hit game show.
Making into the final round, Ruby had some advice: “I think she should go for the jackpot, and definitely Drop Zone 4”.

Three silver counters stood in the way of the family and a whopping $20,000. If Bec were to win, she would take the whole family to the UK.
Bec and “nervous” daughter Ruby held their breath as the jackpot counter peered over the edge.
“This is for 20k!” Todd reminded them of the stakes.
