‘What were they thinking!?’: Dan and Dani slam eyesore blocking $1 million water view
We’ve arrived at the final week of Block room reveals! Dan and Dani certainly didn’t hold back when it came their final inspections of the front yards and facades.
Walking into Lisa and Rosco’s space, Dan and Dani were immediately struck by a massive eyesore: a shed with a fold-out door revealing a built-in cooking and TV setup.
Dani’s face says what we’re all thinking: We’re not convinced! Nine
The duo felt the addition was completely unnecessary and, worse yet, blocked parts of the property’s million-dollar water views.
“What were they thinking?” Dan questioned it.
Dani was equally unimpressed, pointing out the unpaved dining area as a sign of budget struggles.
“You can just tell they’ve run out of money,” Dan sighed.
While there was plenty to admire in Rick and Tayla’s front yard, Dan and Dani were left genuinely horrified after discovering Tayla had stripped leaves off several trees purely for aesthetics.
“That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard!” Dani shrieked.
In House 1, Dani argued that built-in seating would have been a far better choice than the loose chairs placed around the outdoor fire pit.
“This furniture is just going to get ruined!” Dani warned.
Hopefully Tayla’s handiwork was worth it? Not! Nine
While the pair loved the water feature House 1 bought off their neighbours in House 3, they agreed it was tucked into completely the wrong spot in the front yard.
“No one can enjoy it over there – it’s just shoved away in a corner,” Dani noted.
Dan also took issue with the circular steel sculptures dotted throughout the landscaping, cheekily dubbing them “hamster wheels.”
“You don’t need them,” the foreman declared.
Dani was left completely “speechless” upon stepping into Chantel and Wyatt’s impressive wellness zone.

While Dan was initially hesitant about their bold outdoor fireplace – worried it was a bit “too in your face”– the finished result quickly won him over.
Over in House 4, Dan wasn’t convinced by the addition of yet another deck and seating zone, admitting he found the extra layout choice “a bit confusing.”
