Things started off with host Andy Lee asking The Hundred if they recognise who Hughesy is.

Turns out, yes, 92 per cent of The Hundred know who he is — and it's 1 per cent more than Karl Stefanovic got.

Hughesy then had his own question for The Hundred, "In 2017, I bought a house on The Block for a lot of money. Do you think I just did it for attention?"

When Josh Barker and model Josh Barker won The Block in 2017, of course everyone wanted to know who splashed $3.067m on the home.

It wasn't long before it was revealed that it was comedian and radio presenter Hughesy who snapped it up.

As The Hundred put in their answers, Andy turned his attention to Abbie Chatfield who was sitting on the panel with comedian Luke McGregor and regular panelist Mike Goldstein.

Andy asked Abbie, an influencer and host of Love Island Australia Afterparty, if she knew the answer as she is "someone who knows how to get attention?"

Hughesy went on to explain what really happened the day he purchased Josh and Elyse's home.

"On the day that I bought it, my wife wasn't there," he recalled.

"She had taken the kids to a birthday party and I texted her to say that we'd just bought a house on The Block."

"Don't tell anyone!" she texted back, although it was too late and Hughesy was already being interviewed by Block host Scott Cam.

When The Hundred's results came in, a whopping 56 per cent of people believed Hughesy bought the property on The Block for attention. These stats don't lie.

But it wasn't long before the conversation moved on, and Hughesy asked another question.

"Do you know someone who does a Hughesy impersonation?" he asked.

Only 5 per cent of people do. But Jack, who was a part of The Hundred, gave his best impersonation, which you can watch in the video below.

Hughesy loved it and admitted Jack's joke was one he's never told, but maybe it'll be in his next show after the reaction it got on the show.
