When he's not hosting the hit game show The Hundred, host Andy Lee is busy being a renovator!

Two years ago the TV personality, along with fiancée Rebecca Harding, purchased 'Ravenswood' – a beautiful Melbourne River property built in 1876.

Catch up on the latest episodes of The Hundred with Andy Lee on 9Now.

Now, the star couple have decided it's time to not only begin but share their mammoth renovation journey.

There have been a few surprises along the way – including Andy's romantic proposal at the property.

"Let there be light!" said Andy as he shared an update on his roof restoration in April 2025.

Two years in however, Andy admitted there's one question "we keep getting asked": When will the house be done?

In a cheeky clip, straight from the builders' mouths they said: "We have a bet with Andy that he'll take us to the Melbourne Cup if we finish by August-September [next year]."

"By Melbourne Cup day 2026," said Andy's site manager Luke (right). "If he can get into the house by Melbourne Cup 2026, he's going to pick us up on the river in a boat and we're going to go to the races."

To that, Andy said: "Good luck, lads. You may need to add a day for cleaning up."

Luck will certainly need to be on their side as they continue restore the heritage building.

"The slate roof from the 1870s put in a hell of an innings but needs to be replaced," Andy revealed during that same update.

"It's been removed revealing these beautiful old beams that will remain from the original."

Within the original beams, Andy revealed he will also be keeping the "clever mortice and tenon* joints used" in the home.

"*I obviously knew it was a "mortice and tenon joint' and didn't have to ask Luke the builder and then google it for the spelling," he added.

Inside the home, there's certainly still a mammoth task ahead.

"Top floor of the heritage house has been reconstructed," wrote Andy in a prior update.

Like us, fans can't get enough.

"I'm absolutely loving watching the progress & the fact you're paying homage to the old part of the house while having a new and vibrant place attached. Beautiful work 🙌🏻," one follower commented.

It's certainly coming along!

In April 2025, Andy Lee spoke to 9Entertainment about the progress of the renovations at Ravenswood.

He was happy to report that it was "going well".

"We've got a long way to go it's such a big project. It's so exiting though to be kind of bringing back to life a house that so old from 1876," he said.

"We've just started all the reroofing, taken the walls down and putting them back up and working on the render. We've managed to bring back the three chimneys and reconstructed all those."

Of course one of the most exciting parts of the build is Andy's golf simulator in the hidden underground aka his man cave.

While one might assume Andy's plan for a golf simulator was hard to get past fiancee Bec, Andy explained that the pair had an agreement of sorts:

"We had a few non negotiables, mine was I really wanted one of those [a golf simulator], and Bec wanted her own wardrobe space where she could hang items for looks and so on. So we came to the wishlist so we kind of said, 'yeah you can have that if I can have this,' he laughed.

Andy and Bec may be a few years away from completing their mammoth renovations – for a hilarious reason.

In April 2025, the TV host shared a video capturing the "incredible" moment it was his turn to operate the giant crane on site.

"People have asked why the build is taking so long," Andy captioned it.

"I can assure you we only have time on site for the essentials," he said.

In the video, Andy is seen laughing in disbelief, but you'll never guess what was hanging 50 metres in the sky...

"This is incredible," Andy said in the video.

"Gosh, I've got five people in my hands up there. It's a powerful feeling."

Yep, in that crate were five site crew members doing what we're sure was a very important job.

It was only a few weeks ago that it was Andy and Bec up there!

"How do you feel about your boss sending you 40, 50 metres in the air?" one crew member laughed as he asked another.

Meanwhile, Andy had a strong look of concentration on his face as he brought the crew back down.
