‘Absolute dog’s breakfast’: Adam and Jolene left outraged after Open For Inspections

Open For Inspections are back for Week 3, and the teams didn’t hold back on their thoughts that Adam and Jolene were “robbed”.

It was a close competition, with just a single point separating Courtney and Sev in first place from Adam and Jolene in second for their Family Bathroom, but after seeing the winning room, the blockheads had some strong words for the judges.

Courtney and Sev spent a whopping $53,273 on the room.

In one sense, it paid off; they took home the top prize for the week. But despite the glamorous vibe of the room, the other contestants couldn’t help but notice the rough finishes.

“That is an absolute dog’s breakfast,” Jolene said.

Chantel and Wyatt, who lent the girls their tilers, were quick to point out that the team got “eight hours of extra time” but still left the room looking like it had been rushed.

“The finishings are atrocious! It’s left a really sour taste in my mouth. I’ll be honest,” Jolene added.

“Adam and Jolene literally just got robbed in my opinion,” Wyatt told producers.

Taking a look at Adam and Jolene’s room, all the teams were left impressed, with the only flaw seemingly the lack of a toilet door.

Rick and Tayla gave the room a 10/10, and agreed with Wyatt’s call that the couple had been robbed.

But, Adam and Jolene weren’t the only ones unhappy with their placement, with Rick and Tayla outraged after seeing Lisa and Roscoe’s bathroom, which was ranked just a single point lower than theirs.

“I actually hate it,” Chantel said after inspecting the nearly bare room.

“The room only had waterproofing done.”

Walking into the room, Tayla couldn’t believe her eyes when she realised what the judges had compared her room to.

“I need to speak to someone about this,” she said.

“This is absolutely just a joke, it’s actually laughable, I’m not sure if serious ... It’s hilarious that they can compare this to ours.”

Safe to say, the drama is certainly heating up. We can’t wait to see the chaos unfold when main bedrooms and walk in robes are revealed on Sunday night.
