'You asked for it': The Block's Shelley Craft unveils stunning results of her home renovation

The Block's Shelley Craft has revealed the amazing results of her latest home renovation in Byron Bay.

And you can catch the epic transformation in the video above.

Known for her cheerful check-ins and helpful advice on The Block each year, the star host has been chipping away at her own reno projects behind the scenes.

In a surprise update to fans, Shelley shared a stunning before and after video to Instagram this week – and the results speak for themselves!

"Alrighty, you asked for it… here's a peek at what our place looked like before we decided to 'get fancy' with a reno," she captioned the video.

In the before video, Shelley panned across the original façade of the house, with exposed cream brick, and sage green roof tiles.

Rich terracotta-inspired tiles paved the way to the lived-in backyard of the house, where viewers were introduced to the faded back sunroom, pebble garden and classic Aussie backdoor fly screen.

As the renovations began, Shelley embraced a modern Mediterranean style, swapping brick for a freshly painted textured exterior paired with a new Colorbond roof.

She replaced the old garden brick wall with a stunning stone feature wall contrasted against a dark timber panel fence.

Stepping into the backyard, the host unveiled a gorgeous new courtyard complete with large white pavements, and sleek fold out windows – you can only imagine the fresh breeze coming through!

"Honestly, making these before-and-after reels is kind of addictive, so… here's another one for you! 😄," Shelley added.

Friends and followers were stunned by Shelley's transformation with one commenting: "Wow what an amazing transformation 👏 Well done. Looking beautiful 😍."

"What a complete turnaround. You're the queen of design," said another, while another praised the star for her "stunning and gorgeous" balance of beautiful colours and texture.

Shelley returns to The Block this week as teams continue to work their mezzanine guest bathrooms.

No doubt she'll uncover a few new surprises when she completes her weekly walk-arounds with fellow host Scott Cam.

Although, nothing could beat the grand surprise she received from House 3's Ricky and Haydn last week.

The boys unveiled a custom 'Shelley' mermaid decal on their new Bar Crusher boat.
