Scotty Cam reveals what he really thinks about Jason

With the Blockheads just days away from revealing their garage studio spaces, Block co-host Scotty Cam has caught up with Karl Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys on the Today Show to chat on the upcoming open for inspections and his ongoing tiff with Jason. 

"It's gone really quickly, but we're coming to the fun stuff now," said Scotty. "We've got open for inspections this weekend and all the public can come down and take a look at the homes. [But it's the] auction which we're all pretty nervous about." 

Karl was quick to bring attention to the ongoing issues Scotty's been tackling with controversial contestant Jason from House 1 all season. 

"You and I have a problem, and we have a problem with this Jason fella," said Karl. "On a scale of one to 10 how would you rate him in terms of your mates?" 

Scotty had a chuckle before replying: "He's right up there with one of my mates. He's a good bloke Jason, he just takes Mondays off which annoys me a little bit, and he falls behind all the time, which also annoys me.

But their houses are starting to come together. He's starting to do a good job."

Karl didn't buy Scotty's diplomatic answer, poking him to tell the truth about his feelings towards Jason. 

In reply Scotty admitted he'd been hard on House 1 all season and had also given them a lot of help along the way (including budget and planning advice). 

"He's alright, he's tried hard — well maybe some of the time," he added truthful.

"Tough but fair Scotty, that's how you roll," said Sylvia. 

As to his pick for this season's win, Scotty said it's almost impossible to know as previous seasons have shown the best house doesn't always take out the prize. "If a buyer has an emotional connection with a home they'll buy it," he said.  

The five finished Block houses will be open to the public this Sunday October 15.
