The Block's Sarah and George reveal they're having a baby

Sarah and George made it clear they were doing The Block in hopes of creating something special for their future family.

Well, the loveable couple have been holding onto one big secret — they are pregnant!

The 2020 Blockheads made the exciting announcement that a little bub is on the way alongside a cute baby onesie that reads "My parents were on The Block".

"Remember that family we kept talking about? Well our dream has become a reality. We are so excited to share with you all that we are going to be parents to a beautiful baby boy in February," they captioned the post.

The post was flooded with comments from fellow Blockheads congratulating them on the happy news.

"We are so excited for you both. Your going to be the most incredible parents. A love you never knew existed! Love you guys xxx," commented Jimmy and Tam.

Their Block neighbours Harry and Tash wrote, "Sooooooooo EXCITED!! ❤️❤️❤️"

"Omg!!!! That's so exciting - congrats guys 🙌👏🙌," wrote Ronnie and Georgia.

The Oslo winners Tess and Luke commented, "Congratulations guys ❤️ that's awesome news x."

One of the most beautiful rooms the couple delivered during their season of The Block was a bedroom designed for a little girl.

It was a whimsical space that showed Sarah and George were already thinking of the future, and during the Open for Inspections the room had some of the other contestants in tears.

During the last Room Reveal the couple walked away with a new car, which meant a lot to them. They were keen to win the vehicle as they needed a family car for when they started having kids.

The couple renovated House 2 and on auction day walked away with an incredible $650,002 in profit.

From the outset they made it clear children were in their future and the money from the auction, along with a new car, had them well on the way to that.

"We're in a position now where we can have a family and he can be home, and be a dad, that's all I wanted," Sarah said in a 9Entertainment post-auction exclusive video interview.

"I don't have to work six days a week," George explained.

Sarah teared up as she elaborated on her dream for their family: "I just want him [George] to be around as a dad. It's just the greatest feeling ever."
