Week 10 of The Block really packed a punch.

There was the season's first flawless score of 30, Brett's scheming plans, heartfelt family visits and an explosive body corporate – all while contestants renovated there redo rooms and final bathrooms.

Steph and Gian score the season's first perfect 30

After totally missing the mark in Week 1's House Decider kids' room, Steph and Gian were on a mission to prove that the knew what they were doing.

And they exceeded expectations when they won Kids' Bedroom Week with a flawless score of 30 out of 30 – a season first!

Old friends Rachel and Ryan visit The Block

As part of Steph and Gian's prize for winning Kids' Bedroom Week, they set off on another Ford Winners' Getaway and were joined by former contestants Rachel and Ryan.

The experienced Blockheads dished out advice to Steph and Gian but Rachel was keen to hear all the on-site gossip.

Magazine headlines cause a stir on site

After the teams sat down for interviews weeks earlier, juicy magazines about the contestants rolled in hot off the press.

With headlines like, "We wish we never met them," "They ruined our first win" and "Leah just wants fame", you bet the tradies dropped their tools and were busy turning the pages.

Brett devises a sneaky plan

Brett hoped to present his backyard in Front Landscaping Week and his front yard in Back Landscaping Week.

While that might seem pointless, it all became clear that it was part of Brett's grand scheme to present a more impressive space during the week the coveted Mach-E Mustang that is up for grabs for the winner.

Brett crafty schemes continue

After all the Blockheads voted no on Brett's plan to flip his backyard layout and Nine In Six builder Simmo told him it wasn't possible, we all thought we'd heard the last of Brett's plans.

But he's a persistent guy.

After another chat with Brett, Simmo gave him the green light to flip his backyard layout under one condition – he must get at least three votes from the rest of the Blockheads.

At this point Kristy and Brett and Leah and Ash were still not on talking terms so Brett set his sights on Houses 1, 4 and 5.

A body corporate meeting is called after Leah smells a rat

Leah was never supposed to know of Brett's grand plans but with ears everywhere she eventually caught on after overhearing Leslie talk about it.

"You guys would be very silly if you agree to that," Leah advised Leslie.

And so a body corporate meeting was called to get to the bottom of Brett's conniving ways.

Kristy and Ash go head-to-head at the body corporate

Tempers flared as Kristy and Brett slowly realised their plan was crumbling in front of their very eyes.

And while they were supposed to be talking about yard layouts, things got personal when Ash chimed in.
