Sydney home sells after provocative advertisement goes viral

A raunchy real state video that marketed a Sydney property has proven to be a worthy gamble.

The provocative video went viral a couple weeks ago, and has helped sell the Padstow property prior to auction for $1.72 million.

There was 1000 groups that turned up to inspect the luxe home, which now belongs to a 23-year-old first home-buyer, according to realestate.com.au.

The video displayed a man meet a woman at the front door and proceed to dance around the property with her. This included jumping up on the kitchen bench and then leading her around different rooms of the home before retiring to bed.

Agency LJ Hooker issued an apology before removing the video, after it generated a stir on social media.

“LJ Hooker Bankstown is always looking for new ways to market our listings; however, this time we missed the mark,” they said in a statement.

But the listing agent has hinted that another saucy video might be in the works.

Sam Nader of LJ Hooked said that the video captured the public’s attention and proved to be an international hit.

“The price is more than we expected so it looks like the video worked a charm,” he said.

At the time of release, the internet was split on whether the clip was a masterpiece or total train wreck.

Whatever your thoughts on the video, there's no denying that it did a great job of capturing the public's attention.
