Britt and Taz's Living and Dining

Britt and Taz are coming off a huge high after winning the Room Reveal, the first 10 of the season and $30,000 the week before.
The couple hoped to continue that streak of success with their neutral but very bold living space.

Did Britt and Taz have what it takes to secure back-to-back wins?
Scroll through to see what judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox thought of Britt and Taz's living and dining room.
Britt and Taz splashed $33,585 on their living and dining room.
That's well over Scotty's $20,000 suggested budget for the space but money that the WA couple thought was well worth spending on the heart of their home.
Perhaps one of the biggest risks Britt and Taz took this week was the decision to turn their house "upside down".
Not literally, it was all an optical illusion of course.
"We're putting floorboards on the ceiling," Taz explained.
Would the judges love the bold move or would it backfire?
Britt and Taz's vision was clear from the start.
They wanted an impactful space that was still in fitting with the rest of their neutral home.
"There's a lot going on but it doesn't feel like that, it still feels very calming," Britt said.
Walking in the judges couldn't stop with the 'oohs' and 'ahhs'.
Their eyes were immediately drawn to the dramatic ceiling.
They thought it was "a lot" but it turns out 'a lot' was the perfect amount.
Shaynna thought the theatrical ceiling was "perfectly appropriate for the region".
"This is something that you would come to Daylesford for. It connects with the landscape," the judge beamed.
The judges couldn't stop raving about the ceiling and even noted the attention to detail they'd gone to to extend the floorboards into the skylight as well.
It was a decision Shaynna thought was definitely worth the labour, time and money.
"This is classy. It's elegant, and this render is just heaven. I'm loving the palette. There's so much to love here," Shaynna continued to glow.
Darren adored the "big dramatic strokes" Britt and Taz had taken in the communal space.
Maty echoed that sentiment noting there were "hero shots all around the room" for when it came to marketing.
The judges stood in awe of the rock wall done by the Cursio brothers.
Even though it was another statement in the room they thought it worked perfectly with the floorboard ceiling.
