The kitchen sink is one of those weird areas at home that just collects clutter. There are bottles of detergent, sponges, scourers and of course hand soap, which just live there.

But a cleaning fan in the UK has a very clever way of hiding your detergent and it'll even make doing the dishes less of a chore.

Mrs D, who has a page of Cleaning Tips on Instagram, shared a hack that's caused quite a stir with her followers.

"If you're like me and hate having your dish soap or hand soap cluttering up your sink area then this little pump dispenser is the perfect solution for you," she captioned the video.

Mrs D shared how you can install a soap dispenser in your sink and it's so easy.  Instagram

In the clip she explains that the little nob on the sink is for the tap, but depending on which way your sink goes in, you will have one hole that has just a plug in it.

But what a lot of people don't know is this can be unscrewed.

"Now if you're anything like me, you won't be able to stand having your washing up liquid on the side, so I came across this little pump dispenser on Amazon," she says in the clip.

"It has solved my problem. I no longer have to hide my washing up liquid under the sink or have it cluttered up around the tap area of the sink."

By removing that disk on the front side of her sink, she's got the perfect spot for a dispenser.  Instagram

All you need to do is thread the top of the pump dispenser through the whole, securing it tight underneath, and then fill up the bottle with your detergent. Then just screw the bottle to the dispenser top and you're ready to go.

You could also use the dispenser for hand soap if that's your preference.

Another added, "Omg this is amazing, never seen these before. I have just ordered myself one."

"This is so amazing. Can't believe I haven't seen this before. Just ordered mine and it's ridiculous how happy it's making me," wrote another follower.

It's a great use of dead space and a great option for those with very little bench space in the kitchen.
