Adam and Jolene had a secret weapon – or two – up their sleeves when it came to revealing their Outdoor Terrace and Pool area.

Turns out one feature had all three judges blown away and Marty Fox was the first to point out that you’re only likely to see a standout like that in a house valued at over $10 million.

The outdoor kitchen blew the judges away, with Marty Fox pointing out it’s the kind of feature you’d be more likely to see in a $10 million home.  Nine

Weeks ago Adam and Jolene won a room, which came with the added bonus of Dekton by Cosentino stone, which they used on their outdoor kitchen area.

The outdoor kitchen really bought the wow factor and despite going over budget, it paid off with the couple taking the win, thanks in part to a secret Gnome Jolene had been wearing around her neck since the Domain Buyers Jury Challenge.

“How beautiful is this spotted gum decking,” Marty pointed out as the trio stepped down into the pool area.

“How beautiful is this full stop,” declared Darren Palmer.

As they moved into the kitchen area, the big hits kept coming as Marty pointed out, “Fridge, barbeque, wok, pizza – it’s got everything.”

Shaynna Blaze praised the space, which she said “feels like a resort.”

“Come out of the pool, have your margarita,” she continued as they stood around the outdoor kitchen looking onto the Plungie pool.

Darren explained how important nailing outdoor entertainment is in this area.

“One of the things that helps sell the house, because it sells the dream, this does that so perfectly,” he added.

From the inclusions to the location and proximity to the pool, the judges found a lot to love about the space.  Nine

But from a real estate perspective, Marty believes this outdoor entertaining space has done nothing but add so much value to House 1.

“I reckon if you logged onto Mt Eliza right now to look at properties for sale, there would not be an outdoor kitchen as good as this,” he explained.

“Unless it’s in the $10 million range,” Shaynna pointed out.

“Absolutely, it’ll be $10+,” Marty quipped.

They all agreed that at this price point for the 2026 Block homes, buyers are going to go nuts for this outdoor kitchen.

Earlier during judging they started at the upper outdoor deck, where there’s a sauna and dining table.

The couple also presented a sauna, which sold the dream lifestyle of living in the home.  Nine

While the table didn’t necessarily bring the wow factor, they agreed the addition of the sauna along with the gym inside – which was revealed during Rumpus Week – are really selling a dream.

“This is clearly a lifestyle proposition, this area and I think that’s pretty wise,” Darren pointed out.

With a total score of 29 out of 30 – thanks to the Gnome – House 1 narrowly took the win from Courtney and Sev in House 4, who came in second with 28 1/4 points.
