Exclusive: The 2022 Blockheads reveal their nerves for auction day and one team shares their 'million dollar' goal
It's been 12 weeks of blood, sweat and tears and it all comes down to a single day when The Block homes go under the hammer this weekend.
With so much riding on auction day, it's no wonder the contestants are a little tense.

In an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment, the Blockheads opened up about how they're feeling ahead of Auction Day and what they hope to achieve by the end of it. Watch everything they had to say in the video above.
Ankur and Sharon have felt a little apprehensive about their entire Block journey and the auction is no different.
"I'm scared about the auction," Sharon admitted.

Sharon doesn't think they should be penalised for having the biggest house on The Block, Nine
Having the biggest house on The Block, she expressed her concerns about the reserves.
"I'm hoping that we aren't stiffed with the reserve price aspect of it," she explained.
"Just because it is the bigger house doesn't mean it should have a bigger reserve."

Jenny admitted she felt "positive" about the auction and laid back fiancé Dylan was on the same page.
"The hard work's done so just kick back and enjoy it," Dylan said.
"It is what it is now."

Like Dylan, Tom and Sarah-Jane had also accepted that the results of the auction are out of their hands.
"Whatever happens on auction day, it happens, you can't control it," Tom said.

"Regardless of the result that we get, if it's not the result we want, it's not because we didn't spend every second working our arse off," Sarah-Jane added.
"We're still going to walk out of here as proud as punch."

"I want a million dollars," Rachel admitted.
"Everyone's laughing at me but I dead set want a million dollars."
And Rachel sees know reason why she and husband Ryan can't achieve that after Jimmy and Tam took home one million dollars in the 2020 season of The Block.
"Why can't we get a million bucks?" she questioned.
