Elyse Knowles and Josh Barker share wonderful baby news

Elyse Knowles and Josh Barker have announced some very exciting news.

The former Block stars are expecting their first baby and shared the announcement in a series of sweet Instagram snaps.

"And then there were 3 #babybarker," the 27-year-old wrote alongside a photo of the couple, with a heart drawn on her exposed belly.

Josh also shared the same post, caption and all, on his Instagram account.

The couple were showered with congratulatory messages on the exciting news with plenty of Block alumni joining in.

"A huge congrats guys," posted Alisa and Lysandra.

Tess and Luke commented, "Congratulations guys, that's awesome news x."

"Congratulations Guys," wrote Kyal and Kara.

The couple were the fan favourites when they competed on The Block Elsternwick in 2017.

Throughout the season the pair proved they were a force to be reckoned with and took out six of the 12 room reveal wins, including two perfect scores. Adding to that they won countless challenge and the coveted Domain cover too.

But on auction day they took the risk to go first and it paid off big time. Their home sold for $3.067m, earning a profit of $447,000, making them winners of the season. On top of their profit they won $100,000 in prize money. Later it was revealed that comedian and TV personality Dave 'Hughsy' Hughes had bought the property.

Since their time on the show, Elyse has continued modelling while Josh has continued on with building and design — although she has been joining in on that too.

The couple recently purchased a property together in Byron Bay and she has been sharing small snippets of their renovations on Instagram.
