‘Nightmare’ room worsens after Dan and Dani spot hated detail before even entering

After two weeks away, Dani returned to The Block site with plenty of opinions! Dan had also been away following the birth of their son, Fletcher, meaning both went into the viewing with absolutely no idea what to expect.

This week they had both bedrooms and bathrooms to critique as the teams completed their guest suites – but one detail left the couple very “worried” about entering one team’s room.

In Rick and Tayla’s guest bedroom, Dan quickly labelled the bed “a nightmare” as it was overrun by cushions and had no bedhead.

But Dani’s most hated detail? The barn door that had a proper door handle, even though it was also on a slider.

“I’m actually worried what’s behind it,” Dan said.

Dan and Dani then realised things were even worse on the other side, thanks to incomplete painting and a tiling choice that had Dan scratching his head.

They weren’t the only ones with missteps, as Dan and Dani were not sold on Adam and Jolene’s rooms either.

“It feels really busy in here for me, in terms of finishes. There’s just so much going on, so much pink, so many different types of pink,” Dani said.

So safe to say, when they walked into Lisa and Rosco’s also very pink bedroom, they were less than impressed.

“Why? Why would they choose that wallpaper? … They’ve gone down the wrong path,” Dan groaned.

Lisa and Rosco were stoked to have finally finished a bathroom, but one feature in particular baffled Dan and Dani.

“What is going on there?” Dan asked, shocked.

“That’s so weird,” Dani agreed.
