There are some items that over the years have become foolproof gift ideas for anyone, and let's be honest, a candle tops that list.

A candle is a great option for your boyfriend's mum who you're meeting for the first time on Christmas Day, your boujee best friend (read on to see why), your kids' teacher, your work wife and pretty much anyone else you've got to buy a gift for.
