Blockhead breaks their own design rule

When our Blockheads are renovating a property they have to make hundreds of style and design choices. Sometimes their choices come down to look, other times it's function or cost.

In a game of 'Would you rather?' played exclusively for 9Entertainment, teams were asked to choose between basic home features.

While many had very strong opinions about what was best to use, it turns out Jesse broke his own rule about whether to use a rug.

"You don't need a rug where you have carpet, I feel it's overkill," Jesse said.

But Mel pointed out they have actually used a carpet and rug in two bedrooms.

"Oh that was Dea," Jesse realised.

Contestants also had differing views on induction and gas stoves, as well as painting and curtains. Watch the video above to find out their design preferences.
