'We're defeated': Kristian and Mimi cop their worst score ever ahead of season's most 'impossible task' on The Block 2024

Despite starting strong, The Block's Kristian and Mimi couldn't quite hold their winning streak.

And after receiving the lowest score for Living and Dining Week – and their worst score this season – Mimi's confidence took quite the hit.

Heading into reveals, Mimi doubted herself more than once.

"I don't know, I feel like I don't trust my styling anymore... because [of] the judges," she sighed. "I no longer know what to do."

But after copping another week of negative feedback, the pair were certainly feeling flat.

"Yeah we're a bit defeated," Kristian admitted. "Especially after the week that we had."

Delivering the smallest living and dining space this week, Marty Fox thought their space had "no sophistication, whatsoever".

Meanwhile, Shaynna thought not including a fire place was a massive mistake.

"But a bit of judges' feedback is not going to kill us," Kristian added.

Little do Kristian and Mimi know, they're about to face one of their biggest challenges in the week ahead.

With five spaces up for judging, it's more than any Block team has attempted in 20 seasons. For House 5, the challenge is looking insurmountable.

"We've been set a virtually impossible task this week," Kristian protested.

They will have to deliver two hallways, a gigantic stairwell plus an office and rumpus. With a week this big, the pressure could definitely take its toll.
