Kristian and Mimi discuss their 'viral' TikTok wedding video after winning the first Room Reveal of The Block 2024

Kristian and Mimi came out on top after winning the very first Room Reveal of The Block 2024 with a near-perfect score.

And it appears that the newlyweds are as good at partying as they are at renovating after their 2023 wedding went viral on TikTok.

The couple spoke to Today Extra hosts David Campbell and Belinda Russell after winning Guest Bathroom Week and lifted the lid on the wedding videos that racked up more than 20 million views online.

After tying the knot in November 2023, Kristian and Mimi's nuptials caused a stir online when Mimi's bridal party lip-synced to 'What Dreams Are Made Of' from The Lizzie McGuire Movie as they walked down the aisle.

As it turns out Mimi was the mastermind behind the memorable entrance.

"Everyone loves The Lizzie McGuire Movie it's a classic and I just said to my bridesmaids, 'Hey look, here's some headphones you're going to be walking into this song please'," Mimi told David and Belinda.

"I had no intention of going viral I just wanted my bridesmaids to do that because it made me happy.

"And then it went viral, it was crazy."

During the interview, Kristian and Mimi also teased that there's some turmoil looming in the upcoming week of The Block.

"I did some I'm not proud of and there was a bit of a clash of ideas," Kristian explained.
