'I was panicking': The teams discuss the massive obstacle they never anticipated during Week 1 of The Block 2024
EXCLUSIVE: It's challenging enough renovating a house from scratch on The Block, but it's even harder when you have to do all that while sleeping in a tent nearby.

That's what our five exhausted teams are currently facing on-site, in a sleeping set-up referred to as "Tent City".
Yep, as they're renovating the home from scratch and doing a Guest Bathroom first, there's nowhere for them to rest their heads just yet. Outside it is!
Some have loved being at one with nature, while others are the total opposite.

"I was panicking when I found out we had to be in tents," Paige explained.
"I definitely catastrophised the whole thing.... I wound up loving being in the tent!"
While Jesse added: "I think everyone else will have a different story..." noting their tent was perhaps the biggest of all the teams.
